How to import Web tags into GTM and publish them?

1. How to import Web tags into a GTM account

After exporting the tag files from EasyGTM (.json format), how do I import the files into my GTM account? Please follow the following steps:

Step 1: Go to your Google Tag Web Manager, select Container Account > Click Admin > then click** Import Container**



Step 2: Click "Choose container file" and select the.json file you downloaded before.



Step 3: Select an existing workspace or create a new one.



Step 4: This step is very important!

Select "Merge" and then select "Overwrite conflicting tags, triggers and variables".

In the area below, you'll see which tags, triggers, and variables will be changed.



Step 5: Select "Confirm" to import the tags.

2. How to publish changes in GTM

Step 1: In your workspace, click the "Submit" button in the upper right corner



Step 2: On the page that appears, continue to click the** "Publish"** button in the upper right corner.



Step 3: On the displayed page, you can name and describe the content of this release, and then click** "Continue" to complete the release.
