# Will the Same Creative Appear Multiple Times After Copying Ads?

### Standard Ad Copying Scenario

When you copy ads, the same creative used across multiple copied ads will appear as a single entry in Creative Compass. We aggregate performance data from all associated ads to give you a unified view of the creative's performance.

### Edge Case: Multiple Creative IDs on Facebook

If you upload the same creative to Facebook multiple times, the platform may subtly alter the creative (undetectable to the naked eye) during each upload, generating unique Creative IDs. This will cause the same creative to appear as multiple entries in Creative Compass.



**What We’re Doing About It**:
We’re developing a technical solution to automatically merge these duplicate entries by Creative ID. Stay tuned for this enhancement!
