Set up comparison segments in Klaviyo to evaluate the effectiveness of OmniTrack Plus API events
Create two segments in Klaviyo to compare the collected user counts and evaluate the differences in effectiveness between the two. Here are detailed setup steps:
Step 1. Use Klaviyo's native add-to-cart event to create a segment named "Add to Cart - Legacy Event" and configure the rules as shown in the image below.
Step 2. Use the add-to-cart event sent through OmniTrack Plus to create a segment named "Add To Cart-Combined" and configure the rules as shown in the image below.
After running online for a while, you can compare the member counts of the two segments. Ideally, the "Add To Cart-Combined" segment should have collected more users, at least 20% more, compared to the "Add to Cart - Legacy Event" segment.
These steps are specific to comparing the "Add To Cart" event. You can repeat the same process for comparing "Initiate Checkout," "Complete Purchase," or any other events.
