How to generate Impact platform Account SID and Auth Token?

Add Impact's Account SID and Auth Token in Convbox to sync Impact data to the Convbox attribution dashboard for more comprehensive data analysis.


Steps


  1. Log in to the Impact management platform

Visit the Impact platform login page, enter your account credentials, and complete the login.


  1. Go to the Settings page

Click on Account in the upper right corner of the Impact management platform, then select Settings.



  1. Enter the API page

Find the Technical section on the Settings page and click API.



  1. Create an Access Token

Click the Create Access Token button on the Access Token page.



  1. Enter token description

In the Setup step, fill in Token Name, Description, and leave API Version at the default option. Click Next when done.



  1. Fill in contact information

Set the contact information under Contact Information, then click Next.



  1. Set permissions

7.1 Find the Accounts permission, toggle the switch on the right, then check the following two permissions:
  Retrieve account home /Advertisers/<AccountSID>
  Retrieve company information /Advertisers/<AccountSID>/CompanyInformation



7.2 Find the Actions permission, toggle the switch on the right, then check the following two permissions:
  Retrieve actions /Advertisers/<AccountSID>/Actions
  Retrieve action /Advertisers/<AccountSID>/Actions/<ActionID>



7.3 Find the Jobs Management permission, toggle the switch on the right, then check the following three permissions:
  Retrieve jobs /Advertisers/<AccountSID>/Jobs
  Retrieve job /Advertisers/<AccountSID>/Jobs/<JobID>
  Download job /Advertisers/<AccountSID>/Jobs/<JobID>/Download



7.4 Find the Partner Groups permission, toggle the switch on the right, then check the following four permissions:
Retrieve media partner groups /Advertisers/<AccountSID>/Programs/<ProgramID>/MediaPartnerGroups
Retrieve media partner group /Advertisers/<AccountSID>/Programs/<ProgramID>/MediaPartnerGroups/<MediaPartnerGroupID>
Retrieve media partner groups /Advertisers/<AccountSID>/Campaigns/<CampaignID>/MediaPartnerGroups
Retrieve media partner group /Advertisers/<AccountSID>/Campaigns/<CampaignID>/MediaPartnerGroups/<MediaPartnerGroupID>




7.5 Find the Partners permission, toggle the switch on the right, then check the following two permissions:
  Retrieve media partners /Advertisers/<AccountSID>/MediaPartners
  Retrieve media partner /Advertisers/<AccountSID>/MediaPartners/<ID>



7.6 Find the Programs permission, toggle the switch on the right, then check the following four permissions:
  Retrieve programs /Advertisers/<AccountSID>/Programs
  Retrieve program /Advertisers/<AccountSID>/Programs/<ProgramID>
  Retrieve campaigns /Advertisers/<AccountSID>/Campaigns
  Retrieve campaign /Advertisers/<AccountSID>/Campaigns/<CampaignID>



7.7 Find the Promo Codes permission, toggle the switch on the right, then check the following two permissions:
  Retrieve promo codes /Advertisers/<AccountSID>/PromoCodes
  Retrieve promo code /Advertisers/<AccountSID>/PromoCodes/<PromoCodeID>



7.8 Find the Reports permission, toggle the switch on the right, then check the following four permissions:
  Export report /Advertisers/<AccountSID>/ReportExport/<ID>
  List reports /Advertisers/<AccountSID>/Reports
  Generate report /Advertisers/<AccountSID>/Reports/<ReportName>
  Retrieve report meta data /Advertisers/<AccountSID>/Reports/<ReportName>/MetaData

After setup, click the Create button to complete the creation of the Access Token.




  1. View Access Tokens

On the Access Tokens page, click the created Token to enter the Token details page.




  1. Retrieve credentials

Click API Credentials, then click the Copy button for Account SID and Auth Token.




  1. Complete integration

Fill in the above Account SID and Auth Token into the corresponding fields in Convbox, and click Confirm.
