How to Generate Emarsys Clien ID and Client Secret?

The Client ID and Client Secret is provided by Emarsys and it is necessary if you want Convbox to connect Emarsys to better enriching the event tracking data.


Follow these easy steps to generate and complete integration. You can also check more details from Emarsys docs.



  1. Visit Management> Security Settings >APl Credentials in your Emarsys account and click Create API Credentials button to create a new key.



Select the OpenID Connect option

  1. By selecting the OpenID Connect option, API credentials are created. Make sure you copy and paste it to Convbox's User Profile Stitching settings since the secret is only available once and you won't be able to copy it after navigating away, as indicated in the orange warning.



  1. Paste it to Convbox and Save.





  1. This step is to make sure you add necessary contact.getdata permissions to this API endpoint. Just toggle the option and click Save at the bottom of this page.
