How can I check whether my pixel working correctly or not?
There are three methods to check if pixel events are triggering correctly on your store:
Use the Event Monitor feature in the app to check if server events are triggering correctly.
Install the Facebook Pixel Helper Google Chrome extension to test browser events.
Use Facebook's "Test Events" to test server events.
Here's a detailed instruciton of these three methods:
1) Enter the Omnitrack app.
2) In the left-side menu, locate and click on "Event Monitor."
3) In the "Event Realtime Monitor" module, you'll see the server event records from the last 2 hours. You can compare this data with the actual events to ensure everything is working correctly.
Please note that if you have multiple Facebook Pixels installed in the app, you'll need to switch to the respective pixel in the upper left corner of the page to view the relevant event logs.
Visit your website and click on the Pixel Helper icon. It will display information about pixel events on the current page, ensuring that events are triggered correctly and without errors.
Click here to download the Meta Pixel Helper extension.
1) Log into your Facebook Ads account and navigate to "Events Manager."
2) In the left-side menu, select your pixel.
3) Click on the pixel's name to access the pixel settings page.
4) In the pixel settings page, choose the "Test Events" option. Find the "Test Code" as shown in the image below and copy it to the app. Once done, the Pixel will enter test mode.
5) Go through a simulated checkout process in your store (complete a purchase). This will trigger all browser and server events, which will be displayed on the "Test Events" page. You can also click to view specific event details for verification.
By using any of these three methods, you can check if your Facebook pixel is working correctly. If you encounter any issues or events are not triggering as expected, please contact our customer support team promptly, and we will assist you in troubleshooting the problem.
